St. Mary's Cemetery, dating back to 1847, is located on Plainfield Avenue in Watchung, on the original location of St. Mary's-Stony Hill Church.

St. Mary's Cemetery's location is a wonderful combination of history and usefulness for today on a beautiful area of land.   There is one mausoleum built in 1992 which is 90% sold.   We are planning to build a new mausoleum.  More information will be available Fall of 2002.  

So many of the people who come to St. Mary's for graves or crypts comment on the loveliness and convenience of the location.  Another aspect is that it is small and intimate, a peaceful place to meditate.

Please do not miss an important part of St. Mary's history, take a ride over and see what a gift we have in our parish, not only to have our own parish cemetery, but one that is conducive to prayer and intercession for those who have gone before us.
